Soul Fighter has become one of Riot's most popular in-game events, reaching across multiple titles like League of Legends, TFT, and Legends of Runeterra. It has brought a refreshing twist to the games. The most significant addition from the Soul Fighter event was the League of Legends game mode called Arena. In this mode, four teams of two players each face off in an action-packed brawl.

Arena was a huge hit, and players were disappointed to see it go when the Soul Fighter event ended. But there's good news—it's not disappearing forever.

Riot Announces Arena's Return to League In the latest developer update video, Riot confirmed that although Arena was set to conclude on August 28, marking the end of the Soul Fighter event, that's not the end of the road for the mode.

The Arena team is currently busy working on updates for the mode. The developers announced that the "next version of Arena will drop in early December." This updated version of Arena might bring new Augments, improvements to champion viability, adjustments to the map, and potentially "ways of playing with more than just one friend."

League players were understandably excited to learn that this beloved game mode will be back in just a few months. However, some players weren't satisfied with this news, as they wanted Riot to confirm that Arena would return as a permanent game mode.

While that might be a bit of a stretch at the moment, League players won't have to wait too long to enjoy this highly popular mode once again.
