It is no surprise that G2 Esports has decided to renew their contract with their top laner BrokenBlade. This G2 roster has been very dominant not only in the League of Legends EMEA Championship but also in their recent performance at MSI 2024 showing the fans that the Western regions hold a candle to the sheer force and power of the Eastern teams. 

G2 Esports has been hailed as one of the best pro teams in League of Legends Esports, given how their 2019 roster was able to secure their place at the World Championship Finals.

Sergen "BrokenBlade" Çelik has had his contract renewed until November 2026, further cementing the faith into the current roster as BrokenBlade has defied expectations time and time again as one of the best Western League of Legends toplaners. 

This is fantastic news for the LoL pro scene as G2 Esports has been one of the most solid organizations to ever grace the competitive stage with iconic players like Caps and Mikyx still giving their all to be crowned the best of the best.

Having that in mind, the current G2 team has shown remarkable results, and despite a fluke at the 2023 World Championship, the players seem even stronger this time around, showcasing remarkable talent and resolve despite all odds.
