Riot Games recently announced that they are working on a brand new PvE event that would stray away from the core gameplay of Summoner's Rift in the form of a Bullet Heaven Survival PvE game mode. Players will be able to fight hordes of enemies either alone or with friends!

This is not Riot's first rodeo when it comes to PvE modes as both Oddysey and Star Guardians were marked with lots of love from the community, so it will be interesting to see how the developers will approach a brand new game mode. With that being said, we will be taking a look at everything we know so far about the upcoming League of Legends PvE game mode.

As of now, we know that the mode will be released alongside Riot Games' mid-year event, so we can expect some exciting new cosmetics and other goodies for all of the players. According to @LeagueofLeaks on Twitter, Aatrox will be the Final Boss you will need to defeat. Another neat detail is that you will see his new upcoming Primordian Legendary skin that will be released with the big summer event later this year.

Many players have been asking for more co-op game modes as having some fresh new ways of playing League of Legends can help the community relax and enjoy a new challenge, instead of grinding the solo queue ladder or queuing up for another ARAM game.

As per the concept art, we can see that there will be a very interesting enemy design players will need to face, as the swarm-like appearance of the enemies might hint as to what we can expect Aatrox's new skin to look like. Overall, League of Legends players are brimming with excitement to learn more about this upcoming PvE game mode, as Riot Games have been teasing it since January of this year.

Given the tremendous success of Arena, Riot Games will need to experiment more with different game modes as LoL has been needing some variety apart from its standard 5v5 Summoner's Rift core gameplay. With that being said, we will be monitoring for any other leaks or details surrounding the new Bullet Heaven Survival game mode as the mid-year event draws ever so close.
