A lot of new exciting matches in the LEC 2024 Summer Split as fans and analysts are eager to see which teams will be able to qualify for the World Championship later this year. All ten of the teams are fighting valiantly on Summoner's Rift as not only is the Summer LEC trophy on the line, but as well as the opportunity to represent the region on the international stage. Given how the League of Legends Esports scene is only getting more dominant with each passing year, many are gathering to watch their favorite players and teams perform.

Having that in mind, we will be reviewing the Regular Season matches as the teams slowly progress towards Playoffs for a chance not only to win the Summer Split trophy but also to try to represent the LEC region at Worlds 2024. League of Legends has never been so exciting, following the somewhat surprising results from Western teams at the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational this year.

The Regular Season will have best-of-one (Bo1) matches between all teams starting from June 8, 2024, up until June 30, 2024. Following the first week of three days of matches back to back, now players will have to face in two-day weekends. RGE and KC have a lot to make up for following their Winter and Spring Split performances, however, it seems that other favorites are struggling to find their place in the new meta.

LEC 2024 Summer Split Regular Season Week 2 Day 1

Blue Side Result  Red Side
BDS 0-1 SK
FNC 1-0 RGE
MDK 0-1 VIT
TH 1-0 KC
G2 1-0 GX

FNC and SK seem unstoppable as BDS, G2, TH and MDK are struggling to secure their rightful place given their previous performances. GX and RGE are still struggling to find their footing with VIT and KC seeming much stronger this split.

LEC 2024 Summer Split Regular Season Week 2 Day 2

Blue Side Result  Red Side
VIT 1-0 TH
RGE 0-1 G2
GX 1-0 MDK
SK 0-1 FNC
KC 0-1 BDS

FNC has already secured their spot for Playoffs going undefeated in their first five games, with SK and BDS also fighting for the first-place finish. MDK seems incredibly lacklustre with RGE once again not able to find good team synergy as well as playing passively instead of taking the lead in games.

Following the second day of action, all ten teams are already setting the stage as to how we can expect them to perform during all of the Regular Season matches, however, it is still too early to determine how the Summer Split will play out.

Team Standing
FNC (5-0) 1st
BDS (4-1) 2nd
SK (4-1) -
G2 (3-2) 4th
KC (1-2) 5th
TH (2-3) -
VIT (2-3) -
GX (2-3) 8th
MDK (1-4) -
RGE (1-4) -

And that covers everything from Week 2 of the Regular Season in the League of Legends EMEA Summer Split Championship. We will closely monitor how the teams will perform over the course of the Split, however, G2's performance is very shaky this time around as FNC, BDS, and SK are dominating the region this split.
