How to Make Money in Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth
The economy in Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth is very interesting, in that the game allows you to farm for some very strong items but it does let you know that there might be a better way to earn money later in the game. Opening any of the shops and noticing that the fancy Hawaiian shirt costs $140,000 reveals that earning money in the game operates in different tiers. That's why we've split up this guide into early, middle, and late-game sections, as each stage has different efficient ways to farm for cash. Here are our recommendations for every stage of the game:
Early Game: Combat Encounters

The best way to earn some cash in the earlier stages of the game is definitely through combat encounters. While there are some mini-games and activities, like Crazy Delivery, they are nowhere near as efficient as just smacking enemies with your bat. Combat encounters will also grant you different items, such as crafting resources and items, which can also be sold for some extra cash. Stronger enemies will also reward you with more money, so it's definitely worth picking some harder fights by looking for the big red icons above them.
The amount of money you receive in Infinite Wealth scales exponentially, and the further you progress through the main story, the more opportunities you will have to earn a ton of money. You can definitely notice this when you are looking at different weapons or armor in shops, with the cost of items going from $500 to $5000 and even reaching six digits.
We definitely don't recommend farming for anything expensive, especially in the earlier stages of the game. Later on, you will be able to earn thousands of dollars in a very short amount of time, so whenever you feel like you are well-equipped, you should progress your main story!

Mid Game: Dondoko Island
If you are looking to find some extra cash in the middle of the game, then Dondoko Island is where you'll find it. Dondoko Island is an Animal Crossing-style mini-game that you can unlock at the start of Chapter 6. There, you can gather resources like wood and stone and build different structures, with the ultimate goal of creating a 5-star resort for guests to visit and spend their money.
At this point in the game, you likely have a couple of thousand dollars in your pocket. By reaching the final rank of the resort, you will be rewarded with a whopping $500,000. While this does require a significant time investment, this amount of money can literally break the balance of the game, allowing you to purchase some of the strongest gear. If you want to stay ahead of the curve in Infinite Wealth, we highly recommend playing the Dondoko Island mini-game.

Late Game: Hawaiian Haunt Dungeon
The Hawaiian Haunt is a dungeon that you can unlock in the middle of Chapter 5, and it will be one of your go-to spots for money throughout the game. The Haunt works in a very similar way to other dungeons in the JRPG genre, allowing you to explore and fight your way through a long series of levels, with some objectives and mini-bosses scattered throughout it.
While we are suggesting this as a late-game method of farming cash, you can definitely make use of this dungeon throughout the entire game. There are different tiers of difficulty based on the level of your characters, with the earliest one being recommended for around level 18. The later tiers are where the true money is at, with every run earning you thousands of dollars, as well as a ton of crafting materials and items for your characters. After Dondoko Island stops being profitable, we recommend switching to the Hawaiian Haunt for the rest of the game.
