LoL 14.12 Jungle Champions Tier List: Best Ranked Picks

Despite being a classic jungle champion, Nidalee is falling significantly behind, compared to other champions. She's doing worse and worse in this current meta. We can't help but hope for a buff.

PROS:

• Great early and mid-game
• Duelist

CONS:

• Difficult to play
• Falls off late game

Rengar used to be a nightmare in the jungle! Insane damage, solo carry, guaranteed win. However, these days are long gone and he has the lowest win rate among junglers - 45.5%! He's been in a dire state for a few patches now.

With a low win rate and high ban rate, Lee Sin's glory days are long over. We hope Riot Games has something planned for him in the next few patches, aside from his VFX update.

PROS:

• Versatile kit
• Mobile
• Good ganks

CONS:

• Really weak if he falls behind

Sylas has been stuck in the C-Tier ever since Season 14 started. Maybe it's time to let this one go and focus on him as a midlaner. 

PROS:

• Versatile
• Duelist

CONS:

• Short range

Skarner got a serious nerf in the last League of Legends update. With less base health and passive magic damage, he's no longer a great choice for Ranked.

PROS:

• Decent damage
• Great scaling 

CONS:

• High ban rate
• Long cooldowns

Gragas is fun to play but he's definitely on the weaker side in Patch 14.12. Despite his good sustain and easy-to-set-up ganks, he's not doing well in the current meta.

PROS:

• Great clear
• Amazing late game

CONS:

• Weak early game
• His abilities are easy to dodge

Evelynn is an amazing champion who's very underrated in Low Elo Ranked. She's sneaky and has a powerful charm, which allows her to snowball easily. However, she's quite weak in the current meta.

PROS:

• Good burst
• Snowball potential
• Underrated by many

CONS:

• Reliant on Demon Shade
• Hard to position

Graves is a pretty decent Solo Queue pick, which you can rely on if you're good with the champion. He's got great damage and carry potential, thanks to his scaling and flexible builds. Unfortunately, the recent patches weren't kind to him and he's no longer a good choice for Ranked.

PROS:

• Lots of damage
• Kiting
• Duelist

CONS:

• Weak in team fights
• No CC

Naafiri is a surprise in the Jungler tier list. Patch 14.12 buffed her Q, making her viable in this role. Another Assassin in the Jungle does sound quite good.

Rek'Sai used to dominate the jungle but everything has changed since the last update which introduced some serious nerfs to Q and W.

PROS:

• Perfect ganks
• Good clear speed

CONS:

• Unreliable CC

Elise is quite underrated and an unpopular choice. This will usually help you a lot but she's also not that strong currently. 

PROS:

• High burst
• Great mobility
• Strong early game

CONS:

• Hard to master
• Squishy
• Weak late game

Talon got a slight W jungle modifier nerf in LoL patch 14.12. He's not in top shape but he's certainly not in the bottom tiers anymore.

We saw Xin take over the jungle and return to the top Jungler tiers in the last patch. The buff to Black Cleaver really did miracles for him and he's still a great pick.

Diana is a great choice both as a midlaner or a jungler in the current meta. Her mobility allows for some amazing ganks and once you're on her radar it's hard to get away from her alive. 

PROS:

• Mobility
• Roaming
• One combo and the enemy is a goner
• Great in team fights

CONS:

• No easy way out once you go all in

A huge buff to Master Yi's base stats in patch 14.11 returned him to his glory days. He's a very easy, beginner-friendly champion, with amazing solo carry potential - don't miss out on a few Ranked games with Yi!

PROS:

• High mobility
• Easy to pick up
• Huge carry potential
• Great jungle clear

CONS:

• High pick and ban rate
• No CC

Bel'Veth has been moving up and down this tier list a lot in the past few patches. She's still a decent-ranked pick, due to her damage and mobility, and she's currently in a more balanced state.

PROS:

• Decent damage and burst
• Snowball potential

CONS:

• You're basically throwing the game if you're behind 
• Dependent on True Form

With a good burst and DPS, Taliyah proves herself to be a good pick for Jungler.

PROS: 

• Good clear and scaling
• Underrated

CONS:

• Weak early game

Playing against a good Shaco can make you rage-quit! He's a dangerous tool in the right hand. However, be aware of his very high ban rate - 32%!

PROS:

• Great ganks
• Fun outplays, annoying to play against

CONS:

• Huge ban rate, high pick rate
• You'll need to actually be good with the champion and have the right skills in order to NOT be a nuance to your team
• Good vision counters him

With his AoE Slow and global pressure, Karthus is a very solid pick for the jungle in LoL Ranked. His nerf from Patch 14.11 can be barely felt.

PROS:

• Great AoE
• Very useful in team fights

CONS:

• Squishy
• Mana-hungry
• No crowd control

Kha'Zix is still running the jungle in LoL patch 14.12. He's incredibly versatile and a perfect pick for this role thanks to his mobility.

PROS:

• Solo carry potential
• Great duelist

CONS:

• Squishy
• No hard CC

Briar is still the queen of the jungle, even after her nerf in patch 14.8. With insane damage and easy ganks, she's a menace on the Summoner's Rift!

PROS:

• Amazing crowd control
• Easy jungle clears

CONS:

• High ban rate

Lillia is still shining bright in Season 14, especially in team fights. She's getting even better, thanks to itemization changes and Blackfire Torch builds. 

PROS:

• Great damage
• AoE Stun

CONS:

• Squishy
• Hard to play

Viego has been performing very well in this patch and he's definitely a great choice for Ranked due to his versatility. However, be aware of his high pick rate.

PROS:

• Good in mid and late-game 1v1
• Good CC

CONS:

• Weak in the early game
• Countered by anti-heal 

With great engagement and mobility, Rammus is dominating the jungle. He's very good at roaming and he's also great against assassins. 

PROS: 

• Tanky
• Strong crowd control
• Good peel

CONS:

• No sustain
• Weak early game and jungle clear

Warwick is a classic jungler champion who has finally returned to the S-Tier. He's a menace on the Summoner's Rift thanks to his amazing chase.

PROS:

• Great sustain
• Insane damage

CONS:

• Needs Ult for optimal ganks
• Single target damage

Brand is one of the stars of the last few patches, dominating the mid and bot lanes, as well as the jungle. He's in a really good state right now.

PROS:

• Amazing AoE damage
• Easy to pick up and master

CONS:

• Bad utility
• Easily out-sustained 

Nocturne hasn't been out of the S+ tier since Season 14 started, but his ban rate has been growing. He's a classic jungler with one of the best ganks in LoL. Nocturne is a safe and solid choice in Ranked.

PROS:

• One of the best ganks in LoL
• Duelist

• Reliant on Darkness Form
