LoL 14.15 Support Tier List: Best Ranked Support Champ Picks

Leona's damage got nerfed in patch 14.14 but she's still absolutely OP and very useful in Ranked.

The long list of changes introduced to Milio in patch 14.14 are still working in his favor and he's an amazing champion to pick up.

• Lots of utility
• Fun to play

CONS:

• Low CC
• Reliant on ADC 

Lux, the queen of mid and support, is in an absolutely OP state in Patch 14.15. Honestly, when hasn't see been an amazing champ? She has everything you need: high damage, a shield, short cooldowns, and lots of utility. Lux's versatile kit makes her a dominant force in the current meta.

• Easy to play
• Short cooldowns late and mid-game

CONS:

• Squishy
• Skillshot-reliant

Healing-focused Seraphine is on the rise, skyrocketing the singer to S-tier. She's a versatile champion who can hold their ground even with a bad ADC.

• Strong Utility
• Heal and shield
• Low pick and ban rate

CONS:

• Squishy

Thresh is an amazing choice in the current support meta, offering crowd control, mobility, and utility while being great in both engaging and peeling for his teammates.

• Good engage
• Tanky

CONS:

• Long cooldowns

Nami is a classic League of Legends support who can deliver both damage and healing, making the ADC much more sustainable. Her crowd control abilities, combined with her healing and buffing skills, provide excellent utility in lane and team fights.

• Relies on items

Lulu can fit well into almost any team composition thanks to her abilities, which protect and enhance her teammates with shields, polymorph enemies, and provide movement speed buffs.

Braum delivers slows and stuns like no other, helping you peel your team easily.

Thanks to his engagement, disengagement, healing, and damage, Pyke is reclaiming the S-tier. He's a menace and a hyper-carry!

Janna is underrated because she's squishy but she can be extremely powerful if used right.

• One of the best shields
• Great peeling

CONS:

• Squishy
• Low range

Sona has everything you could want in a support champion: a damage boost, movement speed, healing, and a stun. Her versatile kit makes her a valuable champ fir for any team composition.

• Healing

• Great in most team comps

CONS:

• Squishy
• Mana-dependant

Zyra and her plants are very reliable, thanks to her high poke damage and crowd control.

PROS:

• Versatile
• Easy to pick up

CONS:

• Lots of kills and farm stealing
• No mobility

Naut is a great champion but his high pick and ban rate make it difficult to pick him in Ranked.

Soraka remains a highly effective support champion thanks to her healing. She's versatile and very underrated.

• One of the best healers

Taric is still serving damage and tankiness, but he isn't as OP as he used to be in LoL patch 14.14.

Xerath is not only one of the most annoying supports you can play against but also an insane midlaner. It seems like his abilities never stop coming your way! However, in the current meta he's losing his S-Tier status.

Morgana is another LoL champion who is always good. While she’s not S-tier strong currently, her Black Shield can nullify crowd control, and her Dark Binding can catch enemies off guard, making her amazing both in lane and in team fights.

CONS:

• Squishy

Despite the challenges of securing him in your games due to his ban rate, Blitzcrank can turn the tide of fights and create opportunities for his team like no other, thanks to his feared hook.

Alistar is a straightforward tank who can effectively carry a struggling ADC. He’s an ideal choice in low Elo, where peeling for a less skilled lane partner is often necessary.

Zilean has been doing surprisingly well for a few patches now and we love seeing more unpopular champions shining through.

CONS:

• Squishy

Brand used to be an OP support pick but damage isn't enough to carry a game in the current LoL meta.

• Amazing AoE damage
• Easy to pick up and master

CONS:

• Bad utility
• Easily out-sustained 

Swain is going a tier down but he's still very decent as both support and ADC.

PROS:

• Versatile
• Lots of AoE damage
• Great in team fights

CONS:

• Mana-dependent and mana-hungry
• Immobile

Senna currently sits in the B-tier. She's decent but she struggles against certain matchups and can be less effective when not paired with the right ADC. 

As always, Renata is in a weird state - not being strong or weak. We can't help to wonder if Riot will ever do something to bring some more attention to her (aside from the cool skins).

CONS:

• Short range
• Squishy
• Slow

With high mobility and an engaging playstyle, Rakan is great at initiating fights and providing utility. However, he is lacking, compared to some supports.

PROS:

• Mobility
• Amazing engage and disengage
• Roaming

CONS:

• No damage

Bard is currently performing 'okay' in the meta. One of his standout features is his utility and mixed damage, which can provide significant support to his team. However, he struggles with his large hitbox, making him an easier target for enemy skill shots.

In the last few Support tier lists, we placed Neeko high, but the recent changes have made her a less-favorable support.

• Amazing wave clear 
• Easy to play

CONS:

• Falls behind easily and can't get good again

Camille Support is losing relevancy with each League of Legends update. We won't be surprised if she stops being used as support in a few patches.

Teemo is moving into the C tier in LoL patch 14.15. It's best if you keep him in the top lane.

• Easy to pick up and master
• Lots of damage

CONS:

• Squishy
• Bad in team fights

Although Malphite is great in theory, he’s currently lacking in the meta compared to other support champions. While his ability to initiate fights and provide crowd control can be effective, he struggles to offer the same level of utility and versatility that many other supports offer in LoL.

Yeah, Annie can deliver some serious damage but this isn't enough in the current support meta.

Hewie has been in a strange state for a while, with Riot keeping him relatively weak. While he remains a versatile champion, he requires a deep understanding of his mechanics to be effective. Because of this, it's best not to pick him up unless you’re planning to main him.

CONS: 

• Squishy
• Hard to master

While she excels as an ADC, Miss Fortune lacks the utility and crowd control that are essential for a strong support role. She won't be added in the upcoming Support Tierlists.

The 'Support ADC' meta is out, as we already established with MF. Ashe can't offer much supporting, aside from her E and R. Focus on her as an ADC instead.
