This tier list will examine some of the most-played League of Legends champions in the jungle.
- S-Tier: The best champions you can use to ensure you are always victorious.
- A-Tier: Great options but lacking just slightly either in terms of damage or utility.
- B-Tier: Viable and reliable in most situations, you can manage rather decently.
- C-Tier: Although they can be somewhat decent, you are better off with other picks.
- D-Tier: You should avoid playing these champions as much as possible.
NOTE: Although this tier list strives to be as objective as possible in terms of viability, you should not limit yourself to strictly adhere to this list, but rather experiment and see which champion feels fun to play with.

S-Tier Jungle Champions
Jarvan IV is quite the comfort pick given how accessible hit kit is to players just starting out, and even jungle veterans that want a reliable form of engage and CC.

- Innate tankiness
CONS:
- Lacks mobility
Nocturne is also darkening the skies on Summoner's Rift as he is one of the stronger gankers in the game.

- Fast and easy clears
- Great engage
- A lot of utility
CONS:
- Can struggle against tanks

Kha'Zix is another incredibly strong assassin as the meta has revolved around junglers that can very easily destroy squishy champions.

Yi is another power farming monster that can quickly clear camps and objectives.

Bel'Veth is incredibly strong in this patch given how fast she can traverse the map whilst being a fast clearer and good ganker.

A-Tier Jungle Champions
It seems that AP champions are more relevant, however, Ekko stands out with his incredible mobility and utility that can swing the tide of battle quite fast.
Talon is seeing a resurgence as a jungler, as his passive allows him to traverse the terrain without much fuss. Coupled with his deadly damage scaling, you can shine as the annoying assassin everyone fears.
Warwick has been climbing up the ladder as a powerful engage tool that can latch onto unsuspecting carries and chase down fleeing enemies.

Karthus favors a power farming playstyle that might not bode well with your laners, but come late game, you are an unstoppable AP monster.
Shyvan is another example of a power farming monster that can quickly build up a significant CS lead over the enemy jungler, and even get some easy neutral objectives.
Elise has been ramping up in terms of viability, as her kit enables you to efficiently gank and even perform well in most skirmishes.

Skarner is in a decent spot as Riot was able to adjust his numbers just so his is still a viable threat as a jungler.
Nunu & Williamp are quite the annoying combo as their ganking ability is incredible, especially with the map allowing more avenues of approach, coupled with the incredible sustain and jungle clears.
Ivern is a great option if your team does not have enough utility, and in this AD Mid meta, having another enchanter is something you shouldn't disregard.

B-Tier Jungle Champions
Evelynn has been fluctuating recently, although she can be quite deadly in lower ranks, she can become quite useless if the enemy jungler knows how to deny her jungle creeps.
Lillia quickly lept to the lower tiers of this list, given the slight nerfs to her abilities, it seems that players are favoring much stronger champions, but her viability is still not to be underestimated.
Gragas has seen some nerfs to his sustain so it might be a tad tedious to play him in the jungle as his AP ratios are not as great when you are lacking important items.

Wukong is a mixed bag, and although you can either use a tanky or glass cannon build, he can still struggle to compete with other junglers.
Jax can be fairly decent in most matches, but missing out on his insane side lane pressure might come back to bite you.
Not great, not terrible, Zac is in a sweet spot when it comes to his CC, clears, and team fight presence.

C-Tier Jungle Champions
Rengar has been absent in solo queue for quite some time. Not only did the major map changes at the start of Season 14 knock him down, but it seems Riot is apprehensive to buffing his assassin playstyle.
Maokai simply does not bring much to the table besides a great team fighting ultimate, but his clear is rather lacklustre coupled with his lack of early-game presence.
Zed jungle although fun, is not very useful, especially if Riot is shifting towards Durability 2.0. You are better off playing a more traditional jungler.
Lee Sin is doing slightly better than before, however, he still falls behind quite easily if you are unable to establish good leads in the early-to-mid game.

D-Tier Jungle Champions
Sejuani is lacking the much needed presence in solo queue as the meta favors very agile champions, whilst her clunky playstyle might be a detriment in most comps.
Brand has been hit with some heavy nerfs, practically destroying his clearing speed and reducing his damage in fights.
Graves is stuck at the bottom, and there seems to be no hope of him making a comeback anytime soon.
Vi has been gutted in solo queue, as her engage is not strong enough to warrant her weak damage and utility options.
