Tier List Explanation

LoL 14.19 Tier List: Best Bot Lane Champions
Riot Games

This tier list will examine some of the most-played League of Legends champions in the bot lane. Keep in mind that this is for Emerald+ divisions.

  • B-Tier: Viable and reliable in most situations, you can manage rather decently.
  • A-Tier: Great options but lacking just slightly either in terms of damage or utility.
  • S-Tier: The best champions you can use to ensure you are always victorious.

NOTE: Although this tier list strives to be as objective as possible in terms of viability, you should not limit yourself to strictly adhere to this list, but rather experiment and see which champion feels fun to play with.

B-Tier Bot Lane Champions

Twitch
Twitch

This sneaky rat can pair well with an enchanter, but keep in mind that your damage is not as great as other much better bot lane champions.

Sivir
Sivir

Sivir is a controversial pick, given how many items you need to make her feel viable, but you can shine in prolonged team fights, especially when you buff your teammates with your ultimate.

Lucian
Lucian

Lucian is fairly decent, but you will need to pair up with Nami to make the most of your damage.

Varus
Varus

Varus can be quite good, especially in lanes where you can quickly get priority so as long as you maintain your distance, you can scale up quite nicely.

Jinx
Jinx

Jinx is a great hypercarry that can become massive if left unchecked. Make sure to take notice of her weaker early game so you don't get caught out.

Ziggs
Ziggs

Although Ziggs saw a lot of play in the bot lane, especially in competitive play, Riot nerfed a lot of his passive damage, but he can still be a rather reliable pick if your team lacks AP damage.

A-Tier Bot Lane Champions

Miss Fortune
Miss Fortune

Miss Fortune is fairly strong, despite the items nerfs for ADCs, you can still make use of her insane ult damage especially if you have a comp centered around team fights.

Vayne
Vayne

Vayne is amazing at dealing with tanks, but her laning phase can be quite dreadful so be prepared to fall behind.

Nilah
Nilah

Nilah is a very interesting ADC as her short-range playstyle goes against many of the principles bot laners adhere to.

Seraphine
Seraphine

Seraphine can be very annoying as her damage, shields, and healing can easily sustain your team in prolonged fights.

Yasuo
Yasuo

Yasuo needs a lot of setup to shine, so unless your team is full of knock-ups, then you will most probably troll your game.

Xayah
Xayah

Xayah can be quite deadly, but the nerfs to crit items might affect her win rate as the meta develops.

S-Tier Bot Lane Champions

Kalista
Kalista

Kalista is a very mobile high-damage carry that shines in the mid-to-late game as soon as you rack up a couple of items on her.

Ashe
Ashe

Ashe is fairly straightforward as an ADC who has great engage tools and a very annoying slow that can easily apprehend any frontline coming your way.

Kog'Maw
Kog'Maw

Although a lot of attack speed items were nerfed this patch, Kog'Maw will most likely remain a high-priority pick in your games due to his insane late-game damage.

Kai'Sa
Kai'Sa

Kai'Sa is another excellent late-game champion that can unload tons of damage, especially if you are able to find the right angle to ult in.

Draven
Draven

Draven is an unstoppable monster, and if you are able to get in a good cash-in, then you will be miles ahead of the enemy bot lane for the entirety of the game.

Jhin
Jhin

Jhin is a very reliable ADC that has incredible damage, amazing range that allow you to contribute to most fights without having to go too close to the enemy team.
