LoL 14.19 Tier List: Best Support Champions

Tahm Kench has seen better days, but you can still be a very oppressive support that creates space for your ADC to farm without much worry.

Blitzcrank is a very fun, but you will need to be able to land some crucial hooks as your relevance falls off as the game progresses. 

Renata is an amazing support that can swing team fights in your favor, but you will need to rack up a lot of games to get the hang of her. 

Soraka is your dedicated mobile healing station that becomes more and more annoying as the game progresses. 

Bard can be very impactful due to his ultimate, but his roaming playstyle can be very damaging if your ADC does not know how to play around it. 

Vel'Koz has been struggling to maintain a solid foundation of either support or mid lane champion. His damage is okay, but you will not get a lot of value from his CC. 

Zilean is incredibly strong but very boring to play, so pick him at your own risk. 

Janna is a great enchanter that comes with some useful utility that can protect your carries from engage-heavy champions. 

Sona is another great option for an enchanter as she offers a great mix of damage, healing and CC. 

Galio is great for engage-heavy comps and you can neutralize some enemy AP damage. 

Seraphine can be very annoying as her damage, shields, and healing can easily sustain your team in prolonged fights. 

Alistar is the beefiest tank that is not afraid to jump in and CC the enemy, but make sure your team is ready to follow up. 

Nami is great pair for a Lucian, but you can still find success if you are able to land her bubble. 

Taric is the embodiment of a chad-playstyle, allowing you to dive into the enemy without fearing what happens afterward. 

Braum is a fantastic support that can dwindle any enemy engages as well as provide cover for your squishy teammates. 

Leona is another straightforward dive-heavy champion that nets you some cheeky kills should your jungler come to assist. 

Thresh has a nice mix of utility and engage, making him a one-sho-fits-all support that can lead you to victory. 

Lulu is great for hypercarries, and with the meta slowing down the average game length, you might see more Kog'Maws and Vaynes. 

Senna has been gutted several times, and although she is not as strong as she used to be, you can still utilize her range come late-game. 

Poppy is incredible in the bot lane, not only because you can stop enemy engages, but you offer some decent CC, especially in team fights. 

Rell is a great all-in champion who can fish for kills without sacrificing too many resources. 

Pyke is still one of the best hook champions, given how explosive his gameplay can be when you start getting kills.
