Some new information was datamined from the League of Legends PBE like champion and rune changes as well as more options for the Practice Tool.

League of Legends Season 14 has kicked off with Patch 14.1 setting the stage for some massive changes to the game. The very extensive patch notes for 14.1 showcased a plethora of updates, including the new map terrain, new items, and neutral objective changes, all bundled with even more quality-of-life changes and bug fixes that were added to LoL.

Since the next patch that will be coming to live servers is available on the PBE, we will be taking a look at all of the identified changes that will possibly be hitting Summoner's Rift once Patch 14.2 comes out on Wednesday, Jan 24, 2024. LoL Patch 14.2 PBE Changes

We will be going over some changes that will probably be making their way onto the live servers in the next patch of League of Legends Season 14. Most of the changes are centered around champions dealing more damage to structures with their abilities.

  • Data values are adjusted so the knockback does not act weirdly against dashes.

Rune Changes

Some interesting changes have been added to the PBE as well, it seems that Riot is considering returning bonus movement speed enhancements in the early game.

  • Unflinching Rune: Gain 5-25% (based on missing health) slow resist and tenacity ⇒ Grants 2-10 bonus Armor and Magic Resistance while CC'd and 2 seconds after the crowd control effect.

Second Slot Shards Replaced

  • Second slot Armor and Magic Resistance shards were replaced by 2.5% movement speed and 10-15 health shards.

  • Third slot Armor and Magic Resistance shards replaced by 60 flat HP and 10% slow resist and tenacity shards.

Practice Tool Changes

Some small quality-of-life changes to the Practice Tool as you can use the following options:

  • Create Spell Shield
  • Copy Inventory to Target 
  • Grant Status Effect to Target
