The new game mode Swarm, part of League of Legends, is right around the corner and players have already had the chance to test it out. Choosing the right fighter (aka champion) can make all the difference in your survival. Each of the 9 champions brings unique abilities and strengths to the mode. However, we need to keep in mind that the gameplay is very different from the regular League of Legends matches, so your main might not be the best option. Our tier list ranks the top fighters in Swarm currently. Keep in mind that this list might change very soon!

C-Tier Fighters

Jinx

Jinx

At the bottom of the Swarm Tier List, we have Jinx who seems to be performing way worse than the rest of the champions. She seems to be lacking, especially compared to the other fighters.

B-Tier Fighters

Riven

Riven

Riven is a solid champion pick in Swarm, especially when she's paired with some nice buffs to make her even better. However, keep in mind Riven is a little bit more difficult to play and she's not that good as a classic tank.

Aurora

Aurora

Aurora is in a pretty decent state. She's not particularly strong, nor particularly weak. Maybe players still need some time to adjust to the new champion but currently, she's performing simply 'okay'.

A-Tier Fighters

Seraphine

Seraphine

Seraphine is doing exceptionally well since she has everything you might need at your disposal - solid damage, stun, and healing.

Leona

Leona

Leona is definitely one of the easiest champions to pick up and perform well within Swarm. She's an amazing tank

Briar

Briar

Briar is a pretty solid tank, although Leona and Illaoi are definitely better. Tank AoE damage builds are the best for her. Don't focus on either tanking or doing AoE, look for a good middle ground.

S-Tier Fighters

Yasuo

Yasuo

As expected, Yasuo seems to be the most OP champion in Swarm so far. Not only that, but his shield helps so much for his sustain. And let's not even bring up his absolutely broken tornadoes.

Xayah

Xayah

With short cooldowns and insane damage, Xayah is one of the best fighters you can pick in Swarm. Her critical strike build is the best choice.

Illaoi

Illaoi

A perfect tank that can also deal some heavy damage. Illaoi seems to be the stand-out star in LoL's Swarm, thanks to her AoE damage and the protection she can offer the team with her overall tankiness.
