Great news for League of Legends Fans - URF is back! This Ultra Rapid Fire mode returns regularly and we'll be able to enjoy it again in just a few hours. This is just one of the many new things LoL Update 14.3 has brought to LoL players. Here's when you'll be able to play URF again:
What is URF in League of Legends?
In LoL, URF stands for 'Ultra Rapid Fire'. Thi is a special game mode in League of Legends with really fast-paced gameplay, significantly reduced ability cooldowns, increased movement speed, and unlimited mana. The battles in it are really fast and chaotic, which fans love. Champions can spam their abilities almost constantly, allowing for unconventional strategies and aggressive plays. You need good reflexes and quick decision-making to succeed!
URF mode was first introduced as an April Fools' Day joke by Riot Games, but it became insanely popular among LoL players. This led to its occasional return as a featured game mode during special events or holiday celebrations.
URF mode gives LoL players a refreshing break from the usual gameplay experience, allowing them to join chaotic, fun, and less serious battles.

When is URF Returning in 2024?
URF will go live in League of Legends on February 7th 2024. In the EUW, EUN, RU, and TR servers, the mode will be available at 17:00 UTC. All other Riot regions will welcome back URF at 20:00 UTC. It will probably last through the whole Heavenscale event, but we will get a confirmation once it's released.
What are the Best Champs to Play in URF?
Usually, it's best to just have fun and pick out any champion you want to try out. URF isn't competitive so the champion choice should not matter as much as it does in Ranked! We can't be sure which champions will be the best, but we can speculate, based on the recent meta. Picks like Jinx, Lux, Ezreal, Miss Fortune, Jhin, Yasuo, Brand, and Zed will be great choices.
We hope you're as excited for URF as much as we are! Enjoy your quick and epic games!
