Following the ending to Arcane's Season 2, a lot of information was leaked for the upcoming League of Legends season in 2025. Not only will Riot add a new neutral objective that spawns before Baron, but it seems that Viktor will be getting a massive VGU, primarily focusing on the visual aspects based on his design in Arcane.
We will take a look at everything we know so far about the upcoming Viktor rework coming to League of Legends. Keep in mind that all of the information in this article is subject to change and is speculative so take it with a grain of salt.

League of Legends Viktor VGU
Recently, @BigBadBear_ on Twitter / X shared a lot of information for the upcoming changes to League of Legends. One of which centered around Viktor and his brand new look from Arcane Season 2. As per the leaked information, his kit and gameplay will function the same way as before, but it is rumored that his ultimate will grow larger with every kill.
From the photo above, we can see that this is his initial ultimate size, meaning it might expand further to reach the other champions on the outside. Although the VGU will be focused on his visual appearance, we might see other tweaks to his abilities.

LoL Viktor VGU Details
The leaks also showcased a work-in-progress Death Sworn skin with Riot seemingly ditching the Machine Herald aesthetic in favor of the new living hextech concept as debuted in Arcane. Although a part of the community is disappointed that Viktor will be losing his original identity, others are embracing the change very positively.
Another major gripe with the major hextech change-up is the lore inconsistencies and other retconned aspects of the League of Legends universe. Nonetheless, it is refreshing to see Riot Games trying new things both visually, gameplay and lore-wise.
