How to Store Exposed Goods in Manor Lords
If you find your villagers leaving the goods and resources out in the open, don't worry, there's a quick fix! These are some solutions to keep your goods safe in Manor Lords:
Construct Essential Storage
The first important thing to do is to build a Granary and Storehouse as soon as you can afford it. These buildings protect crops and other items from bad weather. Granaries keep food safe, while Storehouses do the same for everything else. Villagers you assign will gather, store, and distribute the items automatically. Roads are also really important for quickly moving things from fields to storage, making your town more productive. So make sure to build roads to connect them.
Increase Capacity
When your town gets bigger and needs more storage space, you can upgrade your basic Granaries and Storehouses. The bigger versions can hold a lot more with 2500 units each. It's not too expensive to upgrade, you just need 5 Timber and 10 Planks for Storehouses, and 5 extra Stones for Granaries.
Another option is to build more storage buildings to increase the total storage volume. You might want to dedicate each one to a certain type of resource to cut down on travel time.
Clean the Clutter
To quickly clean up the clutter left behind by demolished or relocated buildings, you can temporarily reduce the work area of storage buildings to cover just that spot. This makes the workers focus on clearing it first. Adding extra workers can help speed up the process.

For extra Timber, you'll need to unassign some workers from the Logging Camp to free up Ox carts. Idle villagers will use them to collect the Timber. You can also build extra Logging Camps in areas with lots of Timber.
Don't forget to reset the work areas afterward to go back to normal. With these methods, clutter and all the exposed goods will be cleared away quickly, letting your workers get back to work smoothly.
