Manor Lords, despite its lead developer feeling the need to temper players' expectations ahead of its early access launch, has released to overwhelming praise on Steam! So far, it's an extremely promising blend of real-time strategic combat mixed with some of the coziest city-building we've seen in a long time. The soundtrack is gorgeous and the attention to detail is on point.
Manor Lords Bugs
Now, Manor Lords isn't without its problems. There are missing icons, bugs regarding population members becoming stuck as 'homeless,' and production buildings that are yet to be added. The fact that Manor Lords is still so good despite these work-in-progress blips is a testament to the game's epic potential.

That said, there's work to be done, and developer, Greg Styczen, isn't sitting on his hands. Below is a list of incoming patch changes for Manor Lords as revealed by Greg. We've combined two of his tweets to create a more complete list!
Main points for the planned next patch:
- Fix all the weird homeless bugs
- Tune the archer damage
- Tune the trade oversupply mechanics (it's too harsh and punishes regional specialization)
- Slow down the rate of the AI claiming territories
- Improve the sawpit efficiency/storage

Manor Lords Patch Reaction
All in all, players are stoked about the upcoming changes. These are all issues that players were having in Manor Lords, so to see that Greg has his finger so neatly on the pulse of the community is extremely promising! We can only be patient and await what further changes come to Manor Lords in the weeks and months to come.
