Marvel Rivals is the upcoming superhero team-based third-person shooter, developed in collaboration between Marvel Games and NetEase. The game was first revealed last month with an official teaser trailer and gameplay footage. Marvel Rivals' Alpha test will feature 18 of our favorite superheroes and supervillains battling it out in iconic locations across the universe, including 2099 Tokyo and Asgard.
Speaking of Asgard, NetEase has just unveiled Loki as the first playable character in Marvel Rivals. Although his inclusion in the game was widely anticipated, Loki is the first character to receive his own showcase. Here's everything the trailer revealed about our favorite Asgardian anti-hero!

Marvel Rivals: Loki Abilities
As the master of illusions and mischief, Loki's character in Marvel Rivals will possess abilities that align with his powers. Loki's abilities were initially hinted at in the official Marvel Rivals trailer, but now we have the opportunity to see them up close.
The Ruler of Asgard is designated as a Support champion in the game and boasts an impressive array of abilities, including creating decoys, shifting into other characters (his ultimate), and even achieving invisibility. Loki will undoubtedly serve as the focal point for some exciting strategic gameplay that could turn the tide for a team.
Loki
- Primary Attack Type: Splash Damage Rifle
- HP: 250
- E: Loki can create fake characters as decoys and place them as turrets
- F: He swaps places with the decoy
- Q: Loki transforms into another character (possibly only those from the enemy team). After transforming all of his abilities are ready for use even if they were on cooldown before. What is more, he can use the abilities of the character he is impersonating.
- LSHIFT: He creates a healing area that heals any teammate inside of it.
- Right Click: He turns invisible for a short period and can move to a different location.
