Metaphor: ReFantazio How To Start The Skullduggery Quest
Fast-travel to Grand Trad and find the Nervous Guard in front of the Grand Cathedral Mausoleum. Interact with the NPC, and he'll ask you to help him collect Mortaskulls.
Accept the challenge and enter the Mausoleum. You'll need to gather 8 Mortaskulls, which can be obtained by killing Skeleton Soldiers. When you go near the coffins inside the room, the enemies will start spawning and the battle will begin.

It's important to note that Skeleton Soldiers are vulnerable to Strike and Light damage, so we recommend taking advantage of the Healer and Brawler Archetypes. The first one is specifically designed to deal Light damage and wipe out Skeleton Soldiers as quickly as possible.
The latter is perfect for dealing Strike damage, so if you have access to it, don't hesitate to equip it as well. Keep fighting the Skeleton Soldiers until you manage to collect all 8 Mortaskulls. Once you're done, Gallica will notify you, and you'll be able to return to the Mausoleum entrance. Talk to the Nervous Guard one more time to complete the Skullduggery quest and get your rewards.

Metaphor: ReFantazio Skullduggery Quest Bug
There's a bug in the Skullduggery quest of Metaphor: ReFantazio that will stop Skeleton Soldiers from spawning inside the Mausoleum. This is because there are two quests in Grand Trad: Skullduggery and the Haunted Heirloom. The catch is that they both need to be completed in the same dungeon.
In case you accept the Haunted Heirloom quest without starting Skullduggery, the latter will get bugged. When there are no Skeleton Soldiers to kill, you won't be able to get any Mortaskulls, so the entire mission fails automatically.

If you run into the problem described above, you can fix it by reloading your save from an earlier point. However, some players are unable to do that for various reasons, so you can also wait until the in-game deadline of July 30 passes and the quest gets removed from the log.
In case you haven't started either of the challenges, make sure to accept Skullduggery and Haunted Heirloom at the same time to avoid the bug completely and play through the quest without worrying about restarting everything.
