New Roblox Horror Game: Poppy Playtime Forever Official Release Date

Roblox's horror games are a huge hit, and the wide choice range allows players to test different maps and concepts. Now, Poppy Playtime is also coming to Roblox, bringing along some iconic characters from the original game. Poppy Playtime Forever: Release Date

Mob Entertainment officially announced that Poppy Playtime Forever will be available on Roblox starting February 29, 2024.

It was quite surprising to see Mob Entertainment announce the release just a few days before the game dropped. Fortunately, this means we don't have to wait at all to play this exciting new addition to the Roblox horror game section.

Poppy Playtime Forever: Plot

The plot of Poppy Playtime Forever will not be canon to the original story. There will be no details that give us more information about Poppy Playtime. However, since the producers are Mob Entertainment (the original developers of Poppy Playtime), they provide us with a very authentic experience of the Poppy Playtime Universe.

As you can see, the design of the map is a great copy of the original game and, to be fair looks amazing as a Roblox game. We still don't know if there will be more than one villain that will chase us through the game but it is confirmed that Huggy Wuggy will be there.

The trailer also showed us how they changed the names of some significant map locations from the game to similar ones. For example, "Day Care" is now "Playcare". This can suggest that we might encounter duplicates of other well-known areas from Poppy Playtime.

Poppy Playtime Forever: Gameplay

What we know so far regarding the gameplay is that we will be able to choose to play single or multiplayer. Similar to Project Playtime, you can team up with friends, complete tasks together, and escape the monstrous toys.

Poppy Playtime Forever will feature various puzzles such as laser problems and finding fuses to open doors, among others. It seems like we will be able to experience the full essence of Poppy Playtime, from its thought-provoking puzzles to its frightening encounters.

Additionally, Poppy Playtime Forever will allow you to build your levels! That's right! You will be able to design an entirely new level by adding walls, flooring, tiles, and more. This provides us with endless map options, as you can also choose from other player-made levels.
