Like in the real world, potatoes are great and can be used in many recipes, so you definitely want to get your hands on a steady supply of those. The best place to gather potatoes is near Citrus County at Dayton Wetlands (coordinates 5936, -6081). Don't forget to check out the area for corn as well; there is a lot of it there.

Additionally, you will spot some potatoes behind the Tall Grass Inn where Emma Potter is located (coordinates 3056, -4986), as well as in Brookham in Dayton Wetlands (coordinates 6302, -4565). All you need to do is walk around until you find the potatoes.

When you go to the Meyer's Market near the Broken Delta region, you will not only find cabbage, but you will also be able to collect some of its seeds. Go just below the windmill, close to the Hydroponic Regions, and you will find what you're looking for.

The best news is that this location is accessible even for complete beginners, so don't hesitate to explore the area; there are other random vegetables there as well. Last but not least, you can find cabbage at the Tall Grass Inn, right at the place where you found the potatoes and the beets.
