Once Human - How To Get Meme Points

Once Human has a unique progression system, and it revolves around getting Memetic points. We use them to level up different crafting trees and unlock new items, structures, and stations.

Keep in mind that Memetic Points in Once Human have more than one name; we also call them Meme points or Ciphers. However, they all have the same function, and we're here to tell you how to obtain and use them to your advantage.

Once Human How To Get Meme Points

Thankfully, there is more than one way to get Memetic points in Once Human. The game offers three methods to do so: Completing Season Goals, leveling up, and completing Commissions.

Season Goals

Each season in Once Human unlocks new content, and Seasonal Goals are a big part of it. Completing them will provide you with Mitsuko's Marks, which can give you up to 30 Meme points. Fortunately, the challenges are very straightforward; all you have to do is cook meals, disassemble items, place furniture, rest, secure Deviations, and loot Mystical Crates.

Level Up

To gather even more Memetic points in Once Human, make sure to complete different tasks in the game. Look at your Journey screen, and you'll see challenges such as building up a base, modifying equipment, and exploring the area. Each one of these will give you XP to help you level up, and every level provides you with more Meme points.

Commissions

Commissions are weekly tasks in Once Human, and they are assigned to you by V, the talking bird. In order to summon it, use the Tab button and speak. The Commission board will give you 8 tasks each time, including hunting creatures, obtaining certain materials, and crafting items. Completing the requirements will reward you with XP, so you can level up and earn Memetic points.

Memetic Points are used to upgrade Memetic Skills in four categories: Crafting, Infrastructure, Logistics, and Building. They all give you different skills, such as producing gear, ammo, and weapons. If you want to focus on building a good base, choose the Building tree. In case your strategy is exploration, concentrate on your Crafting skills.

The Logistics will let you cook different types of recipes, so you can always have water, sanity-increasing items, and food.
