The Hammer Compensator in Once Human can be found in the Red Sands region on the map. It is located directly north of the HP Evolution Institute, with coordinates 6210, -537. Although the recommended level for this area is 40 or above, there is nothing wrong with exploring Red Sands even if you're below level 20.
Just be careful and bring your best weapons because the monsters are more powerful there. However, in order to get the Hammer Compensator in Once Human, you will have to complete the balloon puzzle challenge first.

Once Human How To Solve The Balloon Puzzle
Once you've reached the location of the Hammer Compensator in Red Sands, look up and try to find the first balloon. Draw a ranged weapon and shoot it. When the balloon disappears, another one will pop up in the same area. Repeat the process until you shoot three in total.
When you're done, a loot crate with the Hammer Compensator will drop and you can pick it up. Of course, there are also some additional rewards that you will get upon completing the challenge. You can expect 1,500 Energy Links, 6 Stellar Planula, and a Controller.

Once Human How To Equip & Use The Hammer Compensator
You can equip the Hammer Compensator with SOCR, KAM, MG4, and KVD series weapons in Once Human. All you have to do is click on the Accessories tab of your weapon's customization section. For those who have not done it before, simply follow these steps:
- Open Inventory by pressing I.
- Scroll to the Gear tab and select the weapon series.
- Find the Accessories tab and click on Muzzle.
- Equip by pressing F.
