Once Human How To Unlock A Hydraulic Generator
In order to use a Hydraulic Generator in Once Human, you first have to get the formula required to build it. Thankfully, all you need to do is unlock the Hydraulic Formula Generator Memetic from Tier 4 of the Logistics tab in the Memetics menu. Here are all the materials you need to obtain to build a Hydraulic Generator:

Once Human How To Use A Hydraulic Generator
The best way to use a Hydraulic Generator is to place the turbine part in a source of running water while also making sure that the machine is deep enough to start properly generating energy. Moreover, the device cannot be too close to another Hydraulic Generator, or it will stop working.
Although there is a lot that can go wrong with the Hydraulic Generators in Once Human since they break easily, once you find the perfect position for the turbine, you are guaranteed to get a very good flow of electricity.

Once Human How To Fix A Hydraulic Generator
In case you have followed all the steps above but your Hydraulic Generator is still not working, don't worry; there are a few ways to fix the problem. Try to do any of the following:
- Place the Generator down while your character is standing in the water as well.
- Place the Generator on the other side of your base.
- Make sure the turbine is in the water.
It's also important to note that the Hydraulic Generator has to be in a flowing body of water. You'll know that the device is working when it starts generating power.
