Once Human is a popular post-apocalyptic multiplayer game that is receiving a good amount of reviews on multiple platforms. Of course, since the game was released very recently, it is still running into some minor issues, but thankfully, the developers are always quick to respond to community feedback.
One of the most common complaints when it comes to free-to-play games is about the monetization strategies used. However, Once Human was specifically praised by fans for their approach, and we are happy to share with you some of the reviews.

Once Human Positive Reviews
Cohh Carnage, a famous streamer, described Once Human as 99% not a pay-to-win game, with only one paid feature - the base-building mechanic. Many fans agreed with the comment and confirmed that they are happy to see a game with healthy monetization practices.
This is the least pay-to-win game release I have seen in years for a free-to-play game, and it's not being talked about enough.

Once Human has a relatively cheap subscription model and a good shop interface, which makes spending feel optional rather than obligatory. This approach is definitely working because players are willing to spend more money when they are not being pushed to do so.

Once Human Negative Feedback
As with any other game, Once Human faced some criticism as well, especially when it comes to the fact that it lags occasionally and there are not enough weapons available to choose from.
Played for like 2 hours. Honestly, it's all just a bit far-fetched and crazy to me. Building seems okay, but everything is very PG and Fortnite-esque. Battles are too easy, and the guns are a bit basic. I don't think it's for me, to be honest.

Other people supported this claim, stating that the only part that isn't boring is building, but even then it wasn't much different from the other survival games. They also commented that it's not bad for a free game, but they would never pay for it.
