Once Human - Ultimate Highland Guide

Highland is a suburban area in Once Human that you will reach right after unlocking Iron River. When you step foot there for the first time, you will notice that the region is almost completely destroyed, and the only two things left there are ruins and Vultures.

These creatures are very hostile, but fighting them is definitely worth the effort, especially considering how much hidden loot you can find in Highland. Let's see all the Weapon, Gear, and Mystical crates you will stumble upon in the area.

Once Human Highland Rift Anchor Location

Most regions in Once Human have their own Rift Anchor, and Highland is not an exception. You can find it near a children's playground with the exact coordinates of 4951, -4555. It's important to note that Rift Anchors are always guarded by strong enemies, so make sure to have the most powerful weapons you own in your backpack.

If you are having any issues locating the Rift Anchor, simply press M to open the map and look for a backward C-shaped symbol. Right-click on it, and you will be able to easily track it. The best news is that this method could work for any Anchor.

Once Human Rift Anchors Explained

Locating and activating Rift Anchors is the only way to get inside a Monolith to fight the bosses in Once Human. They are found near abandoned towns, and once you get close to a Rift Anchor, it will start emitting a purple light. Keep in mind that they are tied to the main story; this means that the Anchor's task can only be completed during that region's main quest.

Although you can complete missions at any level, you will see that there is a recommended rank for each one of them. Just make sure that you are prepared for the level of difficulty by bringing good weapons or simply inviting your friends to help you take down the enemy. In case you cannot activate a Rift Anchor, go back and finish the previous region by defeating all bosses and completing the quests.

Once Human Highland Mystical Crates

Mystical Crates are worth opening because they contain very high-quality loot, such as rare armor, weapons, and resources. There are 46 Mystical Crates in Once Human and they are usually hidden in hard-to-reach places around the map. There is only one Mystical Crate in the Highland region.

It is located on top of a building, right next to the air conditioning vents. Use the stairs in the alley close to the superstore and keep climbing until you reach the second-floor balcony. Grab the ledge and go to the rooftop. The exact coordinates are 4894, -4455, and you can expect to receive the G-17 Dusty Pistol Blueprint.

Once Human Highland Weapon Crates

The first Weapon Crate you will find in Highland is inside the Panorama Grocery Store at coordinates 4898, -4474. Go to the back of the store but before you enter, clear out all the enemies lurking nearby. Once you open the crate, you will find the following rewards:

• Random Weapon Module
• Weapon Module Parts
• Molotov Cocktail / Greande
• Copper Rifle Bullets
• Copper Pistol Ammo
• Vanadium Crystal
• Staroid

Although the drops from the second Weapon Crate are completely random, it is still worth the try. You can find it inside one of the houses in the Highland Residential Zone, south of the town square. Climb to the second floor, enter the child's bedroom, and you will see it.

Once Human Highland Gear Crates

This might be the only Gear Crate in Highland, but it's definitely the most difficult to locate. You need to look for a building with no doors. Climb up the ladder on the far left side of the supermarket and jump on the rooftop. The Gear Crate will be waiting for you there.
