Overwatch 2 Season 10 Full Patch Notes
Overwatch 2 Season 10 brings a wealth of new content and changes to the game, with the introduction of Venture, Clash, and Hanaoka. The update also focuses on improving the competitive experience, with role-specific titles, adjustments to grouping restrictions, and new rank modifiers. Check all of them out!
New Hero: Venture
The highlight of the update is undoubtedly the introduction of Venture, the game's newest hero. This spirited archaeologist brings a unique playstyle to the battlefield with their powerful drill and seismic abilities. Venture is immediately available to play in Competitive Play.
New Game Mode: Clash
Season 10 also marks the debut of Clash, a thrilling new game mode that challenges teams to capture objectives in a tug-of-war style battle. Here is how to play it:
- 5 objectives are placed in a linear pattern on a mirrored map, with only one objective active at a time
- Matches start with the center objective active
- Players capture an objective by standing on it and filling a progress bar, which cannot be done if an enemy is contesting the objective
- When a team captures an objective, they score 1 point, and a new objective is activated on their side
- Objectives can be secured multiple times, and the next active point will be in the opposite direction if a team is pushed off an objective and the other team captures it
- To win, a team must either capture five objectives, reaching a score of 5 or secure the final objective on the opponents' side, labeled A or E.
Clash will be available as a limited-time trial until April 29th, 2024.
New Map: Hanaoka
- Hanaoka is the first map designed for the Clash game mode, set in Japan
- The map features shops, restaurants, and the Shimada castle in the Hanamura district
