Not only does it offer a robust list of different structures, weapons, and items to craft, but it also features an entire Pokemon-style catch-em-all system. To truly experience everything the game offers, you need to be aware of all the differences that happen during the night. Palworld Day & Night Cycle Details
Like many similar titles in the genre, Palworld features a robust day and night cycle which is going to change a couple of things in the open world.
Day & Night Cycle Duration
The normal duration for each day and night in Palworld is 32 minutes. Without changing any of the world settings, this means that a full day inside of the game takes a little over an hour. This can always be changed in the settings menu when creating your own world and the values can go anywhere from 0.1x to 5x etc. In order for you to make the best decision when creating your world, here are all of the major differences between day and night in Palworld:

Night Time Differences
- Dark Surroundings - During night time, all of your surroundings will become enveloped by darkness and you will need a light source in order to properly navigate the world. You can do this by either carrying a torch, some other light source, or any of the fire type Pals that can provide some light to their surroundings. The temperature will also drop during night time, so it's best to put on some clothes to protect yourself or to stay close to a campfire at all times.

- Pals Go To Sleep - You will notice that some of the Pals you have working at your home base actually go to sleep during the night. At this point they will no longer be available for any of your work orders. Some Pals that are scattered throughout the open world can also be found sleeping and players are going to have an increased success chance of catching them.

- Night Exclusive Pals - There are a lot of Pals that can only be found in the world during night time. You might have already seen some of them like Hoocrates and Depresso, but there are also a lot of higher level Pals that can be found.
That covers the full list of differences between day and night in Palworld. The game features an interesting day and night cycle which promotes playing during both stages of the day. If you truly want to fill up your Paldeck with every Pal in the game, you will eventually have to venture out at night.
