Planet Coaster 2 has plenty of new mechanics and systems to learn and keep track of, but perhaps one of the most entertaining features added to the new title is the Park Rating system. Its goal is to basically tell you how well your park is doing.
The more you expand and improve your park, the higher Rating level it's going to reach. In this guide, we'll show you how to get to the maximum Park Rating level of 5, so you can have the best park out there.

Planet Coaster 2 Park Rating Explained
The Park Rating system is a representation of the state of your park. When you increase the Rating, you become more popular, and more Guests begin to line up at the entrance. To check your current stats, click on the Park Management menu and select the Park Rating tab at the bottom. This will show you the following four aspects:
- Scenery Rating
- Attraction Prestige
- Unique Attractions
- Park Reputation
The level of your Park Rating will correspond to the average number between these four stats. When the estimation is done, you'll get between 0 and 5 Stars, depending on your performance. However, be aware that the lowest number will have the most power.

Planet Coaster 2 How To Increase Park Rating
To increase your Park Rating, you need to achieve the highest score possible in all of the four categories mentioned above. However, we recommend starting from the lowest one, as it will play a key role in the last estimation of your overall score.
If you notice that your Park Rating is dropping fast, open the Park Management menu as quickly as possible, identify which category is having issues, and try to fix the problems immediately. This is guaranteed to help you increase the stats without wasting time. Now let's take a look at how to keep every category at a good level.
Scenery Rating
Let's be honest. Keeping track of everything going on in your park is almost impossible. That's why it's always a good idea to put some Scenery objects here and there to take the attention of your Guests away from other issues. However, you can't just add everything at once. It's important to constantly add new decorations to your park, Shops, and Attractions to keep everyone surprised.
It's also recommended to create areas with different Themes, as this will give you access to a wider selection of Scenery objects. Last but not least, always put decorations in places where a lot of people can see them. Otherwise, you won't benefit from all the hard work.
Attraction Prestige
If you aren't sure what your Attraction Prestige Rating looks like at the moment, you can always find out by opening the Park Rating menu and checking the top left corner of the Attraction Prestige screen. This will also allow you to view how much Prestige you need to acquire the next star. Here are some of the most important steps you need to follow:
- Hire more Mechanics
- Purchase or build Rides with high base Prestige
- Don't build identical Rides
- Use Research Points to get new Rides in Career Mode
- Add Scenery objects around your Rides
Unique Attractions
As mentioned above, it's important to make sure that you never build the same Coasters or Rides in your park. This is helpful both when it comes to increasing your Prestige stats and Unique Attraction points. Moreover, try to create an environment with a lot of variety. This includes creating Pools, Flat Rides, and other exciting Attractions.
When you open the Frontier Workshop, you can download player-made custom building and boost your Unique Attraction or make an entirely new Coaster of your choice by using the new in-game mechanics.

Park Reputation
Your Park Reputation is closely related to your popularity. The higher this stat is, the more Guests you'll get to welcome in your park. That's why we suggest checking what your customers think about the environment by clicking on them and searching for issues that need your immediate attention. Moreover, you can view the opinions of your visitors by opening the Park Management menu and then the Guest tab.
