Pokemon GO: Raids and Spotlight Hours (September 2024)

Pokemon GO welcomes another refresh of the raid rotation during the new season Max Out: GO Big and it's exciting to see what legendary Pokemon we will be able to encounter in the game this September.

We've gathered a list of all the dates you need to mark down on your calendar for upcoming raids and the new weekly Spotlight Hours.

Pokemon GO: Raids Schedule (September 2024)

Raid hours take place from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time. During that time, a legendary Pokemon will spawn at all Gyms where they can host the raids. Here is the schedule for the raids you can join this September. 

Pokemon GO: Five-star Raids (September 2024)

• Kyogre: September 3 - 14 
• Groudon: September 14 - 26
• Zacian: September 26 - October 4

Pokemon GO: Mega Raids (September 2024)

• Mega Absol: September 3 - 14 
• Mega Houndoom: September 14 - 26
• Mega Gardevoir: September 26 - October 4 

Pokemon GO: Shadow Raids (September 2024)

• Shadow Raikou: Every weekend in September 

Pokemon GO: Spotlight Hours (September 2024)

Each Tuesday, between 6 pm and 7 pm local time, players will have a higher chance of encountering certain Pokemon, and catching them will earn you extra rewards. Here are the Pokemon to prepare to catch this remaining month. 

• Wobbuffet: September 17 (Gain 2x XP upon catching a Pokemon)
• Machop: September 24 (Gain 2x Candy upon catching a Pokemon)
