Gear Presets allow you to set presets for Artifacts and quickly swap them between champions to make building champions way easier.

What are Gear Presets
Gear Presets is a feature that will allow you to set up a preset, or a loadout of artifacts and accessories that you will be able to instantly equip on a champion of your choosing.
This will help you reduce the time you spend going between Champions and looking for that perfect artifact piece you need to complete your build. Being able to create several presets that you can instantly choose from and swap for your champion will make switching between teams easier and way more efficient.
When it comes to these presets, you will have the option of creating two types of them: Champion and Global.
Champion Presets are capped at 5 and can only be used by the champion they have been created for.
Global Presents, on the other hand, has a limit of 50, and you can use these presets on any champion without any worries.
Now, let’s see just how you use these presets.

How to use Gear Presets
To use the gear preset function, you’ll first want to open your Champions window. There, you simply choose a hero, click on one of their artifacts, and press the Filter button.
You’ll then see a new window pop up on the left where you will be able to access the Fitting Room, which will be equipped with the Preset Manager after the 8.60 update. Here are the steps shown in an easier-to-look-at manner:
- Open [Champions window]
- Choose [Champion]
- Click on any [Artifact]
- Click on [Filter]
- Open [Fitting Room]
After you’ve equipped all the artifacts and accessories you want for this preset, all you have to do is click on the Save button that will be available on the bottom left.
This way, you’ll be able to save the preset as either a Champion or a Global preset. After this all you have to do is go to a Champion, open the Preset Manager window using the steps above, and choose one of the presets to equip.
Although the gear preset feature seems nice and all, it also means that when trying to equip a new set of gear, you’ll have to spend a ton of silver at once.
And let’s be real, seeing a million silver for the whole set does seem a bit scary. To help with this, the new update also introduces the Free Gear Removal Booster, which you can learn more about in our article HERE.
With this, you’ll probably be able to easily swap around gears and have an overall way more enjoyable time with the game.
