Marius the Gallant is one of the free Legendary Champions you can get in RAID: Shadow Legends. He is an amazing Defense champion who offers a tremendous amount of utility to your teams in almost all types of content.

Marius the Gallant is a Legendary Champion in RAID: Shadow Legends that you can obtain by completing the 180 Marius Missions.

If you have the chance of getting him Marius is a great Defense champion that will help you push through and clear a ton of content in RAID.

He does well in almost any type of content thanks to his ability to manipulate how the enemy’s debuffs work thanks to his [Enfeeble] debuff. The [Enfeeble] debuff makes it so that enemies can only land weak hits. This means that they cannot apply debuffs. 

Marius’ A1 is a skill that attacks all enemies and when booked has a 50% chance of applying [Enfeeble].

Combining this with Marius’ passive that first makes him immune to any Turn Meter reductions and [Decrease SPD] debuff, and then has Marius counterattack with his A1 whenever an enemy tries to place a speed reduction debuff on Marius is a great way to apply [Enfeeble] debuffs for days.

Marius’ A2 is once again a skill that attacks all enemies three times. The amazing part about this skill is that it decreases the duration of all enemy buff by 1 turn with each hit, making it ridiculous.

Finally his A3 first places huge [Increase ACC] and [Increase DEF] buffs on all allies, second places a [Stun] debuff on the enemy with the highest Turn Meter, and finally gives Marius an extra turn.

Quite the loaded kit if we have to say so ourselves. Marius the Gallant can be a great addition to almost any setup be it PvE or PvP.

A1

Weaver of Woes

• Attacks all enemies.
• Has a 35% chance of placing an [Enfeeble] debuff for 1 turn.

A2

Death or Glory

• Attacks all enemies 3 times.
• Each hit decreases the duration of all enemy buffs by 1 turn.

A3

Galloping Thunder

• Places a 50% [Increase ACC] buff and a 60% [Increase DEF] buff on all allies for 3 turns.
• Then places a [Stun] debuff on the enemy with the highest Turn Meter for 1 turn.
• Finally, grants an Extra Turn.

Passive

Steadfast Knight

• This Champion is immune to Turn Meter reduction effects and [Decrease SPD] debuffs.
• Whenever an enemy changes Form or attempts to decrease this Champion’s Turn Meter, counterattacks using this Champion’s default skill.

AURA

Defense Aura

• Increases Ally DEF in All Battles by 35%

• Whenever this Champion hits an enemy, decreases their DEF until the end of the Round. Occurs once per hit.
• If multiple Champions have this Blessing, still cannot decrease a single Champion’s DEF by more than 40%, or decrease a Boss’ DEF by more than 20%.

pvp

Polymorph

• Has a chance of placing a [Sheep] debuff on enemy Champions for 2 turns whenever they place debuffs on this Champion or remove or steal buffs from them. Occurs once per enemy turn. This debuff cannot be blocked, or placed on Bosses.
• Champions under [Sheep] debuffs lose access to their normal skills, and can only use the following [Sheep] skill.
• [Sheep Skill] Attacks 1 enemy. Any ally Sheep will join this attack.
• Has a 50% chance of removing the [Sheep] debuff from this Champion after attacking.
• Whenever a [Sheep] debuff expires or the Sheep is defeated, the affected Champion will return to battle with 50% HP.
• The [Sheep] debuff requires ACC to be placed and can be resisted.

All in all, Marius the Gallant is a great Champion to have, with an amazingly powerful kit. His abilities all work great with one another and are honestly a nightmare for anyone on the opposing team.

Marius is a great Defender who can not only protect your team from debuffs but also place some amazing buffs to help you survive some pesky attacks that might come your way.
