Reverse 1999: Lucy Build Guide

The second truly limited character in Reverse: 1999 has just been released, and it is none other than Lucy.

Lucy is a 6-star character that will only be available during the 1-year anniversary banner [Thoughts of Cylinder], and you won’t be able to get her afterwards, so if you want to get yourselves a copy of Lucy, be sure to check-in the game. And for those of you who’ve already gotten her, this guide will show you the best build for her!

Lucy is a 6-star character that falls under the Intellect afflatus. She deals Reality damage and is by far the strongest DPS character in Reverse: 1999. Lucy is a ridiculously powerful DPS character who can buff herself indefinitely, making her great in prolonged fights. But let’s be honest, you likely won’t have any of those with how powerful Lucy is.

Lucy Best Resonance

Lucy is best used with Resonance focused on Critial Rate to boost her overall damage potential. By using these resonances, you’ll be able to guarantee that your Lucy procs Crits more often, thus greatly increasing her damage. You can find images of two example resonance builds for Resonance 10.

Lucy Best Psychubes

Lucy’s best-in-slot psychube is the [Steps Forward] 6-star Psychube. Not only does it boost the Critical Rate of Intelligence characters, but it also increases Incantation Might, which is overall great for Lucy. If you do not have the Steps Forward Psychube, then a good alternative is the 6-star Psychube [Knock on the Door], which increases the carrier’s DMG dealt, but you will want to use Isolde alongside Lucy if you’re planning on using this Psychube.

Steps Forward

• If the carrier's afflatus is [Intelligence], Critical Rate is increased by 6%. If they hold 2 or more [Special] effects, Incantation Might is increased by 6% when attacking. In addition, if the carrier also has [Force Field], Incantation Might is instead increased by 12% when attacking, and Critical Rate is increased by a further 3% when attacking.

Knock on the Door

• When the carrier attacks a target in the [Burn] status, DMG Dealt +6%. When the carrier's extra action is a mass attack, Incantation Might +4%.

The hypercarry Lucy team consists of:

In this team, Lucy is the main damage dealer, while Isolde and Tooth Fairy take on a supporting role to boost her damage. Isolde is able to debuff enemies and apply [Burn], while Tooth Fairy is there to further increase Lucy’s crit rate, making her a true monster!

Two DPS Lucy Team

Double DPS Team

The double DPS Lucy team consists of:

• Lucy
• Marcus
• Vila

Here Lucy is still the main damage dealer, but she is assisted by Marcus, who can also dish out a solid amount of DPS. Additionally, thanks to Lucy being an Intellect character and Vila being part of the Plant Afflatus, Marcus can get her [Perusal] buff, which also ties in perfectly with Lucy. Vila, on the other hand, is in the team to offer a great deal of support and sustain, while also helping with Marcus’ passive.
