The newest version of Reverse: 1999 has finally been announced and is just around the corner. The livestream for the upcoming update took place today, and during it, we received a ton of information for the new version, ranging from new events, new banners, and new characters. However, that is not all. Although this version won’t be as flashy as the anniversary update that just took place, it still has some tricks up its sleeve to help bring players back to the game. One of those tricks is the [Invitation From the Water] banner that will give players the chance to easily obtain one 6-star character for just 40 pulls! Discover more details below.

Invitation From the Water Details
The Invitation From the Water is a unique type of banner that does not share pity with other Time-Limited Character banners. It is a stand-alone banner that gives you the chance to obtain a 6-star character within 40 pulls. How it works is that you will summon on the banner in the hopes of getting one of two Golden Threads. Each [Golden Thread] will feature a selection of various different characters for you to choose from. After obtaining the [Golden Thread] and choosing your character, the banner will automatically be closed, so do not miss your chance to guarantee a 6-star character in only 40 pulls!

Golden Thread I
The [Golden Thread I] will feature the following 6-star characters for you to choose from:
- Lilya
- Voyager
- Regulus
- Tooth Fairy
- 37
- Ezra
- Ms. NewBabel
- Eternity
Golden Thread II
The [Golden Thread II] will feature the following 6-star characters for you to choose from:
- Centurion
- Medicine Pocket
- Melania
- Shamane
- Spathodea
- Druvis III
- An-an Lee
- Sotheby
- Jessica
- 6
Notes
It is worth noting that you will not be able to directly summon a 6-star character from the [Invitation From the Water] banner. You will only be able to get either Golden Thread I or Golden Thread II. As such, if you do not like any of the characters listed above, you’d better save your pulls for some other banner.

We also can’t forget to mention the duration of the event, now can we? The [Invitation From the Water] banner will be available starting December 28, 2024, and will continue until the middle of January next year, giving you more than enough time to farm up to 40 pulls.
