Sengoku Dynasty Weapons & Quests
Yes, your weapon can break during battle, but the best news is that Sengoku Dynasty will automatically replace it with another one of the same kind, as long as you have a duplicate. That's why it's crucial to always have a backup knife, bow, or any other weapon that you're using; otherwise, you might find yourself unable to kill your opponent. Moreover, this strategy is helpful while you're exploring the region as well. If your axe breaks while you're trying to cut trees far away from home, you definitely don't want to have to go back.
After you build your house, go straight to Toshichi and talk to him. He'll tell you all about the three locals that could use your help. However, we recommend choosing to aid Chiyone, the shrine maiden, before anyone else. She'll give you a quest that will require you to find an egg, cook it, and bring it to the Shrine of Inari. When you complete these tasks, Chiyone will give you a whole bag of Gobo Seeds. These are extremely valuable, as they will give your crop-planting process a good headstart.
Sengoku Dynasty Stamina & Dying
Even if you don't have the best armor yet, it's important to keep track of your Stamina during fights. This stat is represented by a yellow bar, which will prevent you from doing anything other than moving if it's empty. The first thing you need to do before every fight is check how much Stamina you have available. Make sure not to waste it until your enemy takes a break and allows you to make repeated attacks. The good news is that if you break your opponent's defenses once, you'll probably be able to do it again.
However, sometimes the enemy will be too strong, and you'll get killed. Fortunately, the punishment for dying isn't that harsh, and you'll just get sent back home. Although you'll wake up with low Health and Food and you'll have lost 10% of your coins, you'll be able to quickly restore them.

Sengoku Dynasty Free Blueprints & Money
Whatever you do, don't spend your hard-earned money on the Hare Box Trap yet! Toshichi will offer you to do just that, but we recommend going for Kengyo's quest instead, which will give you the same blueprint for free. Simply raid the bandit camp west of his outpost and kill the boar to break the cage. If you have already bought the Hare Box Trap, don't worry; there are ways to make the money again.
Explore the map and fight as many bandits as you can. Each kill will bring you cash, and some of the easiest enemies to defeat are located in Sosogi, the Mountain region, and the Rebel area.
