Squid Game Season 2 Release Date
Although it's been a while since the release of the first Season of Squid Game on September 17, 2021, the wait is now almost over, as Season 2 is officially scheduled to be released on December 26, 2024: just in time for the holidays. The producers have already confirmed the title of the first episode as well, which is Bread and Lottery. Sounds exciting, right?
According to the official synopsis of the new Season, three years after winning Squid Game, Player 456 gave up going to the States and came back with a new resolution in his mind. Gi-hun once again dives into the mysterious survival game, starting another life-or-death game with new participants gathered to win the prize of 45.6 billion won.
The best news is that we'll see some familiar faces in the continuation of the series, such as Lee Byung-hun, Lee Jung-jae, Wi Ha-jun, and Gong Yoo. Moreover, we'll get to experience the incredible work of newcomers like Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Gyu-young, Lee Jin-uk, Park Sung-hoon, Yang Dong-geun, and Kang Ae-sim. Additionally, everyone was more than thrilled to see that Player 456 will return to the show, according to the trailer and official description.

Squid Game Season 2 Everything We Know So Far
After Squid Game Season 1 ended with a bang, fans are now ready to see how Gi-hun would follow through on his words after leaving the airport. According to the director of the show, Hwang Dong-hyuk,
He wants to return to a ‘normal’ so-called life. But there’s something inside him that has already been broken where he cannot return to the way he was before. Although Gi-hun yearns to reconnect with his daughter, he understands that he has changed in a way where that’s no longer possible.
