Supermarket Simulator New Update: Restockers Are Finally Available!

If you have been playing Supermarket Simulator for a while, you might have encountered a struggle with restocking your products. As you progress in the game and expand your store, you will need to place more frequent orders to keep your shelves stocked. However, due to the larger number of items you need to restock, this action can consume your entire shift.

Many players have expressed the need for an employee who could handle restocking tasks for them. Nokta Games heard our wishes and introduced a new employee, the restocker. Here's all you need to know about the new supermarket employee, how they can assist you, and the latest Supermarket Simulator updates.

Supermarket Simulator: Restockers

While restockers are now part of the team in Supermarket Simulator, their abilities remain limited. Currently, they can only retrieve boxes from the storage racks. It's important to organize your storage room so that restockers can easily access these boxes. The developers have announced that they will be adding another feature soon, allowing restockers to retrieve boxes from the floor and place them in storage.

How to Put the Restockers to Good Use

Adding restockers will relieve our workload since they will handle putting the new products on the shelves. With them taking care of shelving duties, you can focus on organizing your orders and tracking inventory. You can place orders throughout the day without worrying about sorting them out.

Now that you have more coworkers, you can invest in additional storage. In our previous guide addressing restocking and shelving issues, we advised organizing your storage in the evening and placing final night orders before closing. Ensure your storage remains stocked with the same number of products you would display in your supermarket, so they can always be readily loaded onto the shelves.

New Supermarket Simulator Updates

In addition to the restockers, there a few more updates that were just added to the game.

• Added keyboard support to the card reader device
• Added labels to all the shelves that show the product info
• Added clearing labels from empty shelves by clicking on the label
• Added a new, mirrored checkout counter
• Edited placement layout for soda, yogurt, beer pack, butter, beef, steak
• Added selling boxed-up furniture by holding F
• Added closing the boxes when placing into storage racks
• Added placing computer to the storage
• Increased box-throwing force
• Edited LOD differences of some items on the map
• Fixed storage racks causing FPS drops
• Fixed a bug causing direct interaction with checkouts when placing after unboxed
• Fixed the icon of the vintage book
• Fixed items falling through the walls of the door between store and storage
• Fixed boxes staying red all the time when taken from racks
• Fixed 6Pack beers' icon size
