With the new Season 3 for THE FINALS in full motion, many players are exploring the Japan-themed aesthetics, weapons, new map, and more features that were added recently. With all of these changes, the devs also provided some updates to the in-game balance, specifically by introducing new weapons and buffing and nerfing the remaining roster of guns.
Given the new season, we can see the meta shift drastically not only to account for the new weapons but for the changes to the remaining guns in THE FINALS. Having that in mind, we will take a look at all of the light build weapons in the game and rank them according to their damage, utility, and overall performance so you can win your matches much more easily.

Tier List Explanation
This tier list will examine all of the light build weapons in THE FINALS.
- C-Tier: Although they can be somewhat decent, you are better off with other picks.
- B-Tier: Viable and reliable in most situations, you can manage rather decently.
- A-Tier: Great options but lacking just slightly either in terms of damage or utility.
- S-Tier: The best weapons that are currently imbalanced.

THE FINALS Season 3 C-Tier Light Weapons
93R
Possibly one of the worst weapons for Light Builds, and although it got some much-needed buffs, it could still be better.
CONS
- Low damage
- Clunky headshots for a burst weapon
Dagger
With the meta changes in Season 3, the Dagger was punished the hardest in terms of melee weapons.
Sword
Although you can have some success with this melee weapon, you will be stat-checked most of the time as you can't emote cancel due to the risk of getting banned.
THE FINALS Season 3 B-Tier Light Weapons
Recurve Bow
Although it is still early to determine the overall effectiveness of the Recurve Bow, some players might find it rather clunky to use as you need to adjust to the much slower fire rate, although the damage is quite good in most scenarios.
V9S
Although the damage is somewhat decent, the sights are awful to use which drastically reduces your chances of landing headshots.
SR-84
The sniper is in a difficult spot as it can be very useful in some situations, however, you will need to consistently land headshots to make full use of the damage.
PROS
- Great carry potential as well as game-changing opportunities to get the upper hand.
- Amazing at dealing chip damage
CONS
- Requires a lot of mastery to use efficiently
- Good only at long-range scenarios
