The Walking Dead's spin-off, The Ones Who Live, was highly anticipated by fans for years. The show delivered with an amazing plot, great storytelling, new characters, and the everlasting bond between Michonne and Rick. It feels like the show began and ended in an instant because of how immersed in the story each episode left us every week.
Now that we have seen the end of The Ones Who Live, let's discuss it and review the main parts that left the biggest impression.

The Echelon Briefing and All CRM Secrets Revealed
We have all been dying to hear this top-secret briefing and unravel the mysteries it held. It was the perfect opportunity for us to uncover the truth behind all the unexplained events throughout the season. The CRM was already the main suspect for the events in Omaha, but General Beale's explanation that the mass killing was actually "for the greater good" was shocking. Listening to his story while witnessing the presentation given to the soldiers about the fate of the children in Portland was both enraging and bone-chilling.

The episode did an excellent job of conveying the shock experienced by both Rick and Michonne upon discovering that the CRM was far worse than they had ever imagined. While absorbing all of this, I couldn't help but think about Thorne and the fact that she knew all of this and supported the military. Fans were right in predicting that she would become the "Shane" of the show.
Anyway, Rick and Beale's conversation was undoubtedly a turning point for the main character, prompting him to act on his instincts. It was truly devastating to witness Rick realize how brainwashed he had been and how all of this manipulation was merely to coerce him into surrendering his own community. We all knew Alexandria was not going to be spared as he promised. Nonetheless, this briefing ultimately resulted in Rick embracing his true self once and for all.

Rick and Michonne Destroying the CRM
Rick and Michonne just managed to collapse the CRM and free the Civil Republic just like that, huh? Well, I honestly didn't think that was possible, but here we are. Don't get me wrong; I actually liked how things turned out, but I was surprised to see them take down the biggest and strongest community (military) in The Walking Dead's universe so easily. It did make the show complete, but it felt a little too optimistic and surreal. Was it rushed? Yes. Was it cool? Yes.
I loved seeing Terry O'Quinn as a zombie, and the way Rick and Michonne blasted CRM's entire Frontliner Force and Force Command was super satisfying. Those two are truly unstoppable and managed to make the unthinkable happen.

Rick and Michonne Reunite With Judith and RJ
We all got what we wanted. I will forever be happy with this show because of its ending. I honestly didn't believe they would bring back their kids, but it was the most pleasant surprise of all. I felt really sad seeing Rick nervous and unsure of what to say to them at the beginning. It is understandable given how long it has been, but seeing them together felt like a dream. I was almost expecting a twist at the end, honestly. Rick and RJ's first interaction was also very sweet. Despite the fact that they are strangers now, you can tell what their relationship would be like. I love that family.
