Since Throne and Liberty dropped their latest Update 1.7.0 on November 13, 2024, fans are able to participate in the first-ever Arena Season in the game and win some amazing rewards. However, it's important to mention that this opportunity is available only for those who have reached Level 50.
If you've already done that and you're ready for challenging 3v3 PvP cross-server activities, you've come to the right place. In this guide, we'll explain how the Arena in Throne and Liberty works, including maps, restrictions, and buffs. Let's get started!

Throne and Liberty Arena & Maps
Even though the developers of Throne and Liberty have already confirmed that they may add more maps to the Arena in the future, for now, there are two maps available. When you enter this mode, the battlefield will be selected for you automatically, and the players will be divided into two teams of three.
Your squad will always use the color blue, while the opponents will be dressed in red. To enter the Arena, you can gather with two friends or select the option to play by yourself. Click Esc or F10, and you'll be allowed to choose between the following Game Types:
Ranked
- Ranked matches will give you Ranking based on performance, and you can either play alone or with other people.
Regular
- Ranking doesn't happen based on performance, and you can join with any party size.
Friendly
- Works like Ranked, but its purpose is more oriented towards practicing and simply spending time with friends. It also allows you to invite pre-formed teams.
All modes are equally entertaining, and which one you'll choose depends entirely on your personal preference, gameplay style, and level of experience. Generally, if you choose Ranked, the game will only pair you with people who are just as strong as you are to create a balanced match.
Throne and Liberty Arena Buffs
It's important to note that the goal of the matches in the Arena is to reach 200 points before the other team does. All you need to do is kill as many enemies as you can to get points every 30 seconds. When one of the teams emerges victorious from the battle, the game will be over. If nobody reaches 200 points, the match will stop after the set limit of 5 minutes. Once you play a few matches, you'll be able to choose from the following three buffs:
- Enchant ATK Power: Increased DMG output
- Shield: Increased Survivability
- Invisibility: Grants Invisibility for a short period
Although every player can choose only one of these benefits, there are no limitations on who chooses what. Moreover, be aware that if there's a difference of 12 or more tokens for three consecutive scoring periods, the team with more tokens will win automatically.
Throne and Liberty Arena Season Restrictions
Yes, the Arena doesn't have a lot of restrictions, but there are still some limits, such as the fact that Guardians and Restoration Crystals cannot be used during matches. Additionally, shapeshifting is forbidden as well.
Apart from these rules, there is a limit on the number of weapons that you can bring with you. Every team can have one Shield and Sword user, one Wand user, and the rest can have the same weapons. Let's take a look at all the weapon restrictions:
Sword and Shield
- Count Limit: 1
Greatsword
- Count Limit: 2
Longbow
- Count Limit: 2
Crossbow
- Count Limit: 2
Wand
- Count Limit: 1
Dagger
- Count Limit: 2
Staff
- Count Limit: 2
If you want to use Dash and Glide Morphs during combat situations on the Arena, you're welcome to do so, but we recommend discussing preferred classes with your teammates before jumping into the battle to avoid any confusion and overlap.
