Dragon Quest 3 Remake How To Level Up Fast
To begin with, it's worth mentioning that the best way to level up in Dragon Quest 3 Remake is to progress through the main story. If you're just starting your journey, you won't have too much trouble doing that quickly, but as you hit Level 10, the process will slow down significantly.
Fortunately, there are some items that can give you access to locations that allow you to level up faster than usual. Here is a full list of all of them, including unlock methods:
Magic Key
- Complete the first major dungeon.
Thief's Key
- Defeat Ripper of the Rift.
Ship
- Obtain Black Pepper for the King of Portoga.
Keep in mind that one of the most important opponents you'll face in Dragon Quest 3 Remake is the Metal Slime. Killing it will help you level up extremely fast, so keep reading to find out which locations you need to visit in order to find it.
Tower of Transcendence
The first place where you can encounter the Metal Slime is the Tower of Transcendence, which is located north of Alltrades Abbey. In case you haven't discovered it already, simply get to the part where you'll be challenged with finding Black Pepper, as Alltrades Abbey is the last spot on the mission.
This is perhaps the best place for increasing your level, as all enemies will drop an insane amount of XP once you kill them. Be aware that if you're a beginner, it might seem like the tasks are too difficult, but don't worry; you'll quickly get used to it. If an ally is defeated, revive them and keep going. In case you don't see any Metal Slimes, just attack the Ethereal Serpents because they can provide you with 1,000 XP per encounter, which is a lot more than usual.

Orochi's Lair
Sooner or later, you'll begin Jipang's main quest, which will quickly lead you to Orochi's Lair. This place can be found southeast of the Tower of Transcendence. When you see the islands in the southeast corner of the map, you'll know that you're moving in the right direction.
If you don't want to wait for Jipang's quest to start, you can just get out of the city and walk east until you find a cave formation in the rocks. Although encountering Metal Slimes is rare, there's a high probability that you'll meet one there.
Persistence Woods
Remember the last item on the list above? Yes, the ship is exactly what you need to roam the seas until you eventually stumble upon areas with Metal Slime. One of these locations is on the eastern side of the map, right in the center of the continent. There, you'll find the town of Persistence. Go there and wander around the woods on the islands.
Soon you'll see Metal Slime, and you'll be able to get more XP than you can imagine. Have fun and good luck on your next adventure! For more information about the latest gaming news, you can check out the following articles:
