Thankfully, unlocking Alonzo in Metaphor: ReFantazio isn't that complicated, but you'll need to complete a series of tasks. First, reach Martira as fast as possible and immediately go to Thoroughfare Square. Once you get there, you'll quickly notice the Pompous Man standing in the middle. Go towards him to trigger the cutscene in which a thief steals Grius' Dagger. Next, talk to Cuculus. He'll tell you to get to the Abandoned Tomb and recover Malveno's Ring.
