The longer you play Metaphor: ReFantazio, the more NPCs you'll be able to meet and unlock. This will allow you to form your own squad of Followers who have unique backstories available for you to discover through conversations.

Metaphor: ReFantazio All Followers & How To Unlock Them

Metaphor: ReFantazio has a total of 14 Followers, and they all have a compelling story that you can explore by starting conversations and completing tasks. However, to get to this point and benefit from your Followers' help, you'll have to figure out how to unlock them first.

• Unlock Method: Defeat Captain Klinger in Nord Mines

Metaphor: ReFantazio How To Unlock Bardon

Unlocking Bardon in Metaphor: ReFantazio is quite easy, but you'll still have to complete the Apprehend the Real Kidnapper main mission before the deadline, which is 7/16. Once you're finished with this task, all you need to do is find him and interact with him to establish a connection for the first time.

The good news is that you can just go to Martira's Thoroughfare Square and you'll find him there without wandering around for too long. When you exhaust the conversation with him, you'll unlock Bardon's Follower Bond Rank 1, as well as his Commander Archetype.

After you manage to unlock Bardon, you have to go to Martira one more time and speak to him again. Keep in mind that you only need a Level 3 Eloquence to go through the first few Ranks, but later, you'll need to complete a boss fight to raise this stat and reach the final levels with Bardon.
