When you're in the early stages of the game and a party member dies, your priority should be to bring them back to life. In this guide, we'll show you how to revive your allies in Dragon Quest 3 Remake.

Dragon Quest 3 Remake How To Revive Party Members
The Churches in Dragon Quest 3 Remake are not there to only help you remove Cursed accessories. They serve more than one purpose, and visiting them is the best way to bring someone back to life after they've been killed on the battlefield. However, not every time an ally dies you'll have a Church nearby. This means that you'll have to fast-travel to the closest random town to find one.
You'll recognize these establishments by the trident-like icon, which appears when you open the map. In case the city you want to visit doesn't have a Church, don't worry; there will always be a Priestess or Priest somewhere on the side of the road who can do the same job. Be aware that if you want to save your game, you will have to find a Church because that's the only place that allows you to do this. When you reach the building, you'll see an option titled Resurrection. Although it will definitely work, nothing in the game comes free.
Dragon Quest 3 Remake Reviving Allies Tips
To bring a friend back to life, you need to prepare to pay the price. Moreover, keep in mind that the cost of Resurrection at the Church will only increase as you progress through Dragon Quest 3 Remake, and many players are already complaining that it might not be worth it. Here are the two factors that influence the price of revival:
- Character's Level
- Character's Vocation
The good news is that there are other ways to save your allies, apart from dealing with the Church, such as using the Zin spell. You'll learn it when you reach Level 10, but keep in mind that until you manage to get the stronger version of this spell in the later stages, you will only have a slight chance to resurrect your teammates. If you find a Priest that can perform Zin, take them to an Inn, do the spell, and rest to get the MP back to its maximum value. This will decrease the cost immensely as well.
