How to Fish
Just like any skill, fishing will get easier the more you level it up. Successful fishing attempts will give you fishing XP that will help you level up. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to fish in Throne and Liberty.
- Equip your fishing rod and bait from the Menu
- Go near a large body of water, like a lake or an ocean
- Aim deep in the water so the marker lights up in blue; if the water is too shallow or you can't fish there, it will light up in red
- Press the button on your hotbar to cast the lure in the water
- Once a fish bites, you'll be prompted to hook it and follow the on-screen sequence to reel it in
- You'll need to keep track of the two bars that will show up, the orange one indicating your stamina, and the red one indicating the fish's HP
- By pressing A or D, you can counter the movements of the fish so it doesn't escape until you deplete its HP
- Be careful with your stamina bar, make pauses so it doesn't drop and you can keep reeling in the fish
