Valorant Patch 9.1 recently dropped, and it seems like everything is going according to plan so far, except for a tiny bug concerning Cypher and Clove that was discovered by players.

It turns out that Cypher can cancel Clove's ability, Not Dead Yet, by using his own Ultimate. The video was posted on Reddit by a Valorant fan, and the community is shocked by the discovery. Let's take a look!

Valorant Cypher & Clove Ultimate Ability Bug

In the video posted by DinoDracko, we can see how Clove, who is ready to use her Ultimate ability, is killed by Cypher. However, he immediately uses his own Ultimate after he sees Clove's body hit the ground. After that, it seems like Clove's death animation stutters while her Ultimate animation starts, and then it disappears, followed by Cypher's Ultimate appearing over her body.

I wonder if when Cypher used his ult right when you died, and maybe the hat needs a corpse to exist. Maybe it overwrote your ult because of Cypher's ult, which went off first, taking priority.

Some players claim that Clove pressed the Ultimate button twice, which caused her intangibility to end, while others simply said that it's due to another bug in Valorant.

Thankfully, Riot Games responded to the comments almost immediately, confirming that the interaction between Clove and Cypher is definitely a bug that needs to be addressed.

As much as I like playing Cypher, I admit he's not allowed to do that. I'm sorry that happened to you.

Many players added that since Clove is the newest Agent in Valorant, perhaps the developers haven't had enough time to fix all the possible bugs that might appear. The community remains hopeful that this issue will be resolved in the next Patch. Have fun and good luck on your next adventure! For more information about Valorant, you can check out this article.
