Jett Explosions Dodge Trick Abyss

Abyss is a thrilling new map that was added to Valorant with the new Patch 8.11 released on June 11, 2024. This map is different from the rest in many ways, mainly because if you're not careful, you can easily fall off the edge. The trick that allows Jett to dodge spike explosions was found recently by Valorant players, and it can save you from a pointless death.

While Jett is located on the B site, she can jump off the side of the map right before the spike is about to explode. The other Agents wouldn't survive, but Jett can use her Updraft to give herself additional height. When you pair this with her floating passive, you will have more than enough time to avoid the spike detonation without falling or allowing the spike to touch her.

Although Abyss has been in the map pool for only a few days, Valorant players have already discovered some bugs here and there. However, Jett's ability to dodge spike explosions on the Abyss map is completely intentional, and fans commented on the fact that it might even give an advantage to other agents with escape capabilities.

I'm really happy for it. This way, I can still bail as Yoru if I mess up and fall, provided I set a teleport before.

Abyss is available to all Valorant players who would like to try it. However, be aware that it will not be included in the competitive rotation for a few weeks, so players will have the time to familiarize themselves with the new layout.
