Tekken 8 is the newest addition to the roster of amazing games that have been winning the hearts of players since 1994. Currently, the market is oversaturated with games filled to the brim with microtransactions that just leave a bad taste in the mouths of many players.
It seems that the current business strategy of most game publishers and developers is to force players into purchasing additional content instead of releasing fully fleshed-out games that are amazing on their own without the need for additional customization options purchased through real money currency.
Having said that, we will be reviewing whether Tekken 8 will feature in-game microtransactions as that could heavily impact the reviews and reception of the game, as many players are quick to criticize when a studio decides to include microtransactions instead of offering a complete and polished experience upon purchase.

Does Tekken 8 Have Microtransactions?
Currently, there is no indication that the game will include microtransactions, so Tekken 8 will not have in-game microtransactions. This is very welcome news as players will be able to unlock customization options by playing the game instead of being forced to reach for their wallets to get their hands on skins.
There are however separate editions of the game that have different benefits. The Deluxe or Ultimate editions net you an exclusive Gold costume and the Year 1 character pass. We will probably learn more about the game after its launch as it seems there might be even more additional content added to the game as time goes on.
Tekken 8 Release Date
The game is set to release on January 26th, 2024 across all major platforms. Many are excited to get their hands on the newest fighting game to hit the gaming market as the Tekken franchise has been deemed one of the most complex and skill-intensive fighting games ever to be played both casually and competitively.
