New Currency: Dreaming Crests

In Season 3, Dreaming Crests are the main currency and crafting material. Like Season 2, crafting the best gear involves Enchanted Crests made by Enchanters through the work order system. The twist this season is the addition of Nascent Crests, a new material needed for crafting each level of Enchanted Crest.

Getting Nascent Crests:

Nascent Crests might sound complicated, but it's pretty simple. These crucial materials can be bought from vendors in Valdrakken and other Dragonflight zones. For example, to craft the highest level Enchanted Aspect's Dreaming Crest, you'll need Nascent Crests from the Valdrakken Enchanting vendor Andoris (30.7 60.9), and it'll cost you 60 Aspect's Dreaming Crest currency.

Crafting Process:

Crafting with Nascent and Enchanted Crests is fairly simple. To craft a specific piece of gear, tag your preferred enchanter and open a work order for an Enchanted Aspect's Dreaming Crest. Combine the resulting Enchanted Crest to craft your desired endgame item or choose to place a work order for someone else to make it.

Nascent Crest Types:

Each of the three levels of Enchanted Crests has a corresponding Nascent Crest, all available from the same Enchanting Supplies vendor:

  • Nascent Whelpling's Dreaming Crest (Cost: 30 Whelpling's Dreaming Crest)

    • Used to create Enchanted Whelpling's Dreaming Crest. (434-447 iLVL)
  • Nascent Wyrm's Dreaming Crest (Cost: 45 Wyrm's Dreaming Crest)

    • Used to create Enchanted Wyrm's Dreaming Crest. (463-476 iLVL)
  • Nascent Aspect's Dreaming Crest (Cost: 60 Aspect's Dreaming Crest)

    • Used to create Enchanted Aspect's Dreaming Crest. (473-486 iLVL)

As you continue your journey in Dragonflight Season 3, remember that Nascent and Enchanted Crests are your top priority for powerful endgame gear. Getting Nascent Crests from vendors like Andoris in Valdrakken and combining them with Enchanted Crests through the work order system, you can craft some of the strongest gear in the game (486 item level).
