The new changes might be a bit confusing to players so we will take a look at what you can expect in Season 4 of Dragonflight. We will tackle the new dungeon changes as well as address the new loot tables for Heroic, Mythic, and Mythic+ Dungeons.

Although the major overhaul consists of tweaking the difficulty, timers, and overall player experience when queuing up for a dungeon, gear rewards are also an important part of running dungeons in the first place.

We will take a detailed look at what Blizzard has changed as well as identify if this will affect higher-skilled players or if this will be a welcome change for more casual players who have yet to conquer higher-level Mythic Keys.

Blizzard has provided a nifty table that illustrates how the Season 4 changes will look compared to the current Season 3 system. The main focus is squishing down the Mythic Keys from +20 to +10 to ensure a more linear approach so players are rewarded for doing Heroic and Mythic 0 dungeons.

In the end, these changes will incentivize more players to run Heroic and Mythic 0 dungeons as the rewards will be worth the invested time and effort, which will in turn give motivation to casual players to try doing harder Keys as they progressively learn how to clear higher-difficulty instances.

With the removal of timers for Mythic 0 runs and the increased item level rewards, we might see a sharp increase in Mythic+ runs overall as that will allow more players to dip their toes in the slightly more competitive side of World of Warcraft.

And that covers all of the Reward System changes coming to Season 4 in Dragonflight. The devs have stated that they will continue to monitor feedback and react accordingly.
