WoW Hardcore Classic's Popularity
However funny these statistics might be, it is also a strong indicator of the playerbase still enjoying on the most beloved MMORPGs ever to have been created. Despite the nostalgia-driven frenzy that happened over the last couple of years, one thing is certain- players appreciate and love great games until their dying breath.
Hopefully this enormous interest towards the Classic experience shifts Blizzard's approach to the World of Warcraft community, specifically engaging more with players as Hardcore was first thought of by the players, only for Blizzard to later adopt to their live servers. With Blizzcon nearing closer, perhaps we might get more love for the game and possibly even Classic+.
